The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ottawa is opening a work opportunity for the position of locally engaged staff (technical administration staff), with the minimum salary of USD2.070 – USD2.700.

  1. Requirements:

    1. Indonesian Nationality with the status of Canadian Permanent Resident, Canadian Nationals, and Other Foreign Nationals with the status of Canadian Permanent Resident;

    2. Physically and mentally healthy;

    3. At the minimum holding a Diploma degree;

    4. Having skills in maintaining website, computer networking, and office administration programs;

    5. Having interests in social, politic, economy, law, culture and tourism of Indonesia;

    6. Holder of a valid full G license;

    7. Proficient in English, and Indonesian, knowledge in French is an advantage;

    8. Good manner, loyal, dedicated, and responsible.

  1. Those meeting the requirements can send the application to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia c.q. Head of Chancery/Recruitment Team, complete with documents as follows:

    1. Application letter in Bahasa Indonesia/English stating motivation, interests and goals in working in the Embassy;

    2. Curriculum Vitae or Resume;

    3. Certificate of the last formal education;

    4. Certificate(s) of non-formal education (if applicable);

    5. Copy of passport, driver license and PR Card (for PR);

    6. Police clearance certificate from the local police;

    7. Health statement from the family doctor or other medical institution;

    8. 2 coloured passport-sized photos.

  1. The application letter and documents can be sent to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ottawa c.q. Head of Chancery/Recruitment Team, 55 Parkdale Avenue, Ottawa, ON K1Y 1E5. Application deadline is 28 February 2017 (postal stamp).

  1. Application letter that has been delivered to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia will be kept as Embassy’s archive and cannot be retracted.

  1. Applicants who passed the administration process will be contacted to do the written test and interview.

  1. The test will cover:

  1. General knowledge on Indonesia and bilateral relation of Indonesia-Canada;

  2. English proficiency;

  3. Computer technical proficiency (office administration program);

  4. Personality and character.

  1. The selection result will be sent for approval to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Only candidates approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia will be contacted by the Recruitment Team.

The recruitment process is free of charged. Applicants are not allowed to give anything that can be perceived as gratification to the Recruitment Team or other employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Ottawa. Applicants proven to be involved in gratification will be disqualified.
