Visual Observation :
The summit can be seen clearly, sometimes it was covered by fog. A 1000-2000 thin mid pressure column of steam can be observed from the northern, north-eastern, southern, and south-western slopes. Rays of fire can be seen from CCTV (Batulompeh). Effusive eruption slowly occurred and was followed by a short duration of earthquake blow.
Earthquake eruption : once.
Non harmonic tremor: occurred in 6 hours (with 1-2 mm amplitude, dominant 1 mm).
Harmonic tremor: nil.
Earthquake blow: 14 times.
Low frequency earthquake: 8 times.
Shallow Volcanic: 2 times.
Deep Volcanic: 3 times.
Local tectonics: nil.
Dangerous area, no activity:
– Within a radius of 8 km from the summit
– In the South-western, Southern, South-eastern, North-eastern, and Northern sectoral as far as 10 km from the summit.

The Indonesian Meteorological service reported volcanic ash from Mount Agung is still blowing to the south/ southwest at a speed of around 15 knots, still heading to Ngurah Rai. The Governor of Bali Province has mandated hoteliers in Bali to grant a one-night free exemption on the first day Ngurah Rai International Airport stops operating and offer the best available rates for every additional night.

Free shuttle bus service registration is available at the Mt. Agung Command Post in the Domestic Terminal of the Ngurah Rai International Airport. The bus will depart to Mengwi Bus Terminal Station once it is full with another bus standing by.
The rate from Mengwi Terminal Bus Station to Surabaya’s Juanda Airport varies from IDR 220.000 (around 17 USD), IDR 250.000 (19 USD) and IDR 350.000 (26 USD).

From there you have several route options with different tariffs to Juanda International Airport in Surabaya (approx. 12 hrs), Adisucipto International Airport in Yogyakarta (18 hrs), Blimbling Sari Aiport in Banyuwangi (6 hrs) and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta (25 hrs).
